For those committed to following Christ:
As we begin the journey of establishing another Gospel proclaiming community in the Greater Iowa City area, we are in need of those who understand the importance of church planting as a “mission”. As one church planting veteran has said, “Fellowship is not built on friendships, fellowship is built on common mission. And when mission is shared, friendships happen!”
In the greater Iowa City area it is estimated that there are only about 10% of the population who are committed to (faithfully participating and attending) a “Christian” church of ANY denomination or creed. Our common mission is to live the life of Christ before this community and proclaim the Good News of the way to peace with God and others and creation, through faith in Jesus. When Paul and Barnabas were sent to spread the Good News of Jesus throughout the Roman world nearly 2000 years ago, their plan was simple: proclaim the Gospel of Christ and establish new communities of faith (churches). This is still the plan today and we are looking for those who are committed to this vision.

We are excited to help you discover who God is and how he loves you and can redeem all areas of your life. We can relate to you, as each of us has stood by the path of Christ and considered his way. We welcome all, no matter what your “church experience” might be, if you have any at all, to join in this great adventure!
